but i like it, it reminds me of turok dinosaur hunter for some reason, probably the low string. im glad you didnt stay overly repetitive and the beat actually went somewhere with the drums, could use some chords but you still got my 4.

not bad tho, vocals could use more post processing though, overall could actually. guitar riffs are cool imo, i dont really like the chorus though. then again, you did deem it ALMOST complete, so ill give it an 8 instead of a 6 thanks to its potential

Alot of people think that haha, flight by midnight came from a term I used to descibe us ha. Most of everything we have written was written at midnight. Weird I know but thats how it started, fun keeping neighbors up!

And yes the vocals are not done jusst yet haha that was a one take as you can tel after the yell, its hard to jump back into the chorus on one take!

not bad

the sound quality is bad, but the general melody is nice. it still gets kinda repetative though. sounds almost christmassy though which is kinda cool

Unfortunately I don't have Professional music equipment, I am just a guy in an apartment complex with a keyboard and guitar, a desk Microphone and a freeware music editor. You can't blame me can you? Also I am an amateur, not those big music posters like ParagonX9, HouseMasta and the others.

its purty

gj, i like the variation in the synths and stuff, its purty, a nice mix from the original. the intro was well done too, but you should DEFINITELY add in some drops and breaks on the drums, the old beat becomes tiring and thats with any song u gotta have variation on the drums. not to mention that "white noise" that comes in around 2:10 is more annoying than anything no offense, id add more fx to it or better yet drop it entirely. k so i checked it out now check out my songz! (i only have 2 lol uploaded)

this bring me back

it rly does. i love zelda, and i love your iteration of the classic NES tune! i also appreciate the tempo switch up, it added depth to the song, the dungeon theme from LttP at the end really perfected it.

youre a true artist, you display a great amount of musical skill! i work on music too and i can sense the effort you put into this masterpiece. the only thing that would disappoint me is if you stopped making remixes

Thx for the review. I really did put alot of effort into making this series. Although the megamix series is over, the remixes won't stop. I just dont have any ideas yet. Soon as I finish the orchestra version of my Gouki's Final Moments remix, I'll put that up. so be on the lookout for that. ^_^v

water temple music ftw! gawd it was such a dreadful temple, but you did wonderful on the recreation of its music! the timing certainly is treacherous, i make music too and i can imagine the difficulty in remaking such a masterpiece.

sounds more like 16bit...

it went beyond the simple square wave limitations of the 8bit era, but nonetheless a nice contribution

I had a similar comment on my Rick Roll submission.
In both tracks I've only used the triforce plugin which only uses Square, Triangle and Noise.

It just blends them to make a smoother tone.
